Die sechsköpfige Band wurde 2023 in Narrm/Melbourne gegründet und lässt sich von Künstlern wie David Bowie, Patti Smith, Rowland S. Howard, John Cooper Clarke sowie australischen Pub- und Post-Punk-Bands der 80er Jahre wie The Birthday Party, The Ears, The Saints und Midnight Oil beeinflussen.

Mit ihrem Debütalbum (BLOW ME UP), das im März 2025 erschien und die musikalische, künstlerische und stilistische Vielfalt der Gruppe zeigt, sowie ihrem zweiten Album, das im Juni veröffentlicht werden soll, wächst der Flying Circus zu einem produktiven Künstlerkollektiv voller musikalischer Experimente und kreativer Vielfalt heran.

Die Absurdität der modernen Welt widerzuspiegeln und die künstlerische Freiheit des Ausdrucks zu feiern – genau das macht den Flying Circus aus.

Krachym erschafft mit einigen Synthesizern und einer kabellosen Midi-Gitarre eine Experimental Noise Pop Symphony. Die Einflüsse des in Leipzig (Deutschland) ansässigen „Keller-Crooners“ reichen von japanischer Elektronik der 80er Jahre über Psych-Pop und Rockmusik. Diese werden immer wieder von spontanen Aktionen und Improvisationen unterbrochen, was zu Ambient-Momenten oder einem allgemeinen DIY-Punk-Spirit führt.
