- **Event Description**: We invite you to a series of adult formation every Tuesday night in Lent with Pastor Tim Ross. We will meet in the Wilderness Room from 5:00 to 6:30pm. Please bring an hors d'oeuvre/finger food to share. In the spirit of Lent as a time of fasting, these will be alcohol-free gatherings (something that is also a gift to those in recovery in our community). For childcare, please email Missy Izard or contact the parish office by February 16.

Our course this year will ask questions such as: Who are we as a congregation? What do we stand for? What are we up to in our community? What are we supposed to do with our lives? What is our mission in life? Join us Tuesday evenings in Lent as we examine Christ's mission for us and for our church. We will also stream the series to our YouTube channel. More about our teacher: The Rev. Dr. Timothy Ross, a citizen of the Cherokee Nation, is a pastor, professor, husband, and dad. Tim recently retired from nearly three decades of service with the Hopwood Christian Church at Milligan University in Johnson City. Prior to that Tim and family lived for ten years among the Maasai people of Kenya. Tim is an instructor with Emmanuel Christian Seminary and also with NAIITS: An Indigenous Learning Community, a seminary created by native Christians. Tim also works with CMFI, an international mission in the area of pastoral care.
