We’re heading back into one of our favorite local paddle routes, and this one is extra special because our newest PFN team member, Erika, will be taking the lead on her first official Paddle Florida Now adventure!

Emily will be there that morning to welcome everyone, officially introduce Erika, go through our complete PFN safety briefing, help everyone get situated and assist with launching. Then Erika will take over and lead the crew through the Flagler Beach Mangrove Maze!

To celebrate Erika’s first official event with us, we’re also offering SPECIAL WELCOME PRICING for this paddle:

NORTH side of Moody Boat Ramp
825 Moody Ln, Flagler Beach, FL 32136

Please do not park in boat trailer parking.

Meet us at the northwest end of the ramp parking lot by our black enclosed trailer.

Meeting Time: 7:15am
Check-In: 7:25am
Launch Time: 7:45am
Return: Approximately 10:30am

THE ADVENTURE 
Erika will lead the group north along the Intracoastal before turning into narrow mangrove passages and exploring one of our favorite tucked-away lagoon areas.

Along the way, we’ll wind through some really beautiful natural areas before finding a sandy spot to pull over, take a break and enjoy the surroundings for a few minutes. From there, we’ll paddle back into the Intracoastal and complete our approximately 3-mile loop.

We think just about ANYONE can handle this paddle with the right preparation and attitude!

Because of the distance — approximately 3 miles — we recommend:
• Having at least one prior paddle under your belt
• Being ready for a fun little challenge
• Bringing plenty of water and snacks if you tend to get hungry
• Wearing a hat, sunscreen and sunglasses
• Leaving an extra set of clothes and a towel in your vehicle for afterward

THIS PADDLE IS PERFECT FOR YOU IF:
• You’re ready for something beyond a short paddle
• You want more time exploring on your own board/kayak or one of ours
• You enjoy a little distance and don’t mind occasionally working against the current
• You want to explore one of Flagler Beach’s unique mangrove environments

This is not an extreme paddle, but there may be portions where the current makes you work a little harder and paddle continuously.

We don’t say that to scare anyone, we just want every paddler to arrive prepared and ready to enjoy themselves!

Please bring your own appropriately fitted life jacket.

If you bring a child under age 14, please make sure they have a properly fitted life jacket. They will be required to wear it for the duration of the paddle.

We are limiting this adventure to 30 total paddlers, and our events have a tendency to fill up,  so we recommend reserving sooner rather than later.
