MORE INFO:

Purpose: A fundraising and awareness campaign benefiting MOST — Men Opposing Sex Trafficking, an initiative connected with City of Refuge in Atlanta.

How it began: Lorne Crabtree, Worship Pastor and avid cyclist, heard Bishop Bruce Deel, founder and CEO of City of Refuge, speak at the 2026 Church of God General Assembly in Orlando. Bishop Deel challenged the Assembly to become involved in the fight against sex trafficking, and that challenge inspired Lorne to create this project.

The Ride: The centerpiece is a single-rider bicycle ride of approximately 140 miles from Fitzgerald, Georgia, to Jekyll Island, Georgia. Lorne will complete the ride, supported by a SAG/support vehicle that will also serve as the communications hub for social-media updates, photos/video, progress reports, and donation encouragement throughout the ride.

Fundraising goal: $10,000, with the campaign designed to raise both money and awareness for MOST and its work combating sex trafficking. Donations can be made at https://www.fitzgeraldcog.org/teammost
