You're invited to the 2nd Annual Uptown Unified Games Field Day, a free morning of inclusive, adaptive play designed for kids living with disabilities (physical, developmental, sensory, or cognitive), ages 4 to 16.

When: Saturday, August 1, 2026
Rain date: Saturday, August 8, 2026
Where: Coolidge Park, Fitchburg, MA

Schedule:
8:30 to 9:00 AM, check-in and registration
9:00 to 11:00 AM, games and activities
11:00 to 11:30 AM, awards ceremony
Lunch provided for every family afterward

What to expect:
Every child is paired with a caring, trained coach and placed on a small supportive team. Activities are built to be safe, accessible, and genuinely fun across a wide range of abilities and mobility levels. 

We have:
- Individual games for kids who do better one-on-one
- Group games and team relays for kids who thrive in a crew
- Water activities (bring a towel and a change of clothes if your kid wants in)
- Quiet sensory areas for breaks and regulation
- Awards for every participant, no one walks away empty-handed
- Free lunch for the whole family after the awards ceremony

This is not a drop-off program. A parent, guardian, or trusted family member who is at least 13 years old needs to stay with each child throughout the event. We want families participating together, cheering each other on, and making the day a shared memory.

This event is completely free. Just a Saturday morning built around your kid.
