VIA del CAMPO Tribute Band si forma nel 2006 dall’idea di alcuni amici spinti dalla profonda passione per Fabrizio De André. Il progetto prende forma con l’intento di riproporre le musiche raffinate ed i testi poetici di Faber, dall’irriverente “Bocca di Rosa” al trascinante “Il Pescatore”, dalla fiaba dei nostri giorni “Sally” all’ardente “Il Testamento di Tito”, attraverso gli arrangiamenti che furono della Premiata Forneria Marconi ed alcune licenze nate durante le prove del gruppo.
Provenienti da esperienze diverse e con diverso background musicale, i componenti dei VIA del CAMPO riassumono l’eterogeneità necessaria per interpretare le molteplici sonorità e le differenti atmosfere contenute nelle canzoni della scaletta, ognuno mettendo un pizzico della propria personalità nell’eseguire i brani, sempre attenti però a mantenere intatto lo stile e il sapore originali.
Assistere ad un nostro concerto è un’occasione per riascoltare le canzoni del cantautore genovese e cantarle insieme a chi sta sul palco, vivendo tanto i momenti struggenti e romantici, come i ritmi più mossi e trascinanti della serata.
Il repertorio così vasto lasciatoci in eredità da De André un patrimonio che appartiene un po’ a tutti noi: ognuno ha, e ci auguriamo possa ascoltare, il brano che arriva dritto al proprio cuore.
