There Is Another Way is a 67-minute documentary following Combatants for Peace - a community of former Israeli and Palestinian combatants working together, in the midst of an ongoing armed conflict, to promote peace through generous listening and empathy.
Supported by an exceptional production team including James Cameron, Maria Wilhelm and Irish writer Colum McCann, the film challenges the binary narratives that dominate media coverage of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Instead of asking audiences to take sides, it invites them to see both sides - and beyond.
James Cameron said about the film: "Revenge is always a downward spiral, never a solution, and the people in this film show that through their actions. There is another way. The film moved me with its humanity - a spark of hope in a seemingly hopeless conflict. It reaffirmed my faith in humankind."
