Portrait Club 

Every Saturday we meet at Art Studio 10, to paint a portrait that allows us to explore composition, color and character through an interesting and unusual set up.
There is a theme - not like a costume but rather an exploration of how the character of a sitter interacts with clothing and backdrops on a pictorial level, creating interesting shapes, color dynamics and patterns.

Open to painters of all levels, each Saturday session provides a new unconventional set up that allows for a painting that goes beyond just a portrait study.


First session: November 29, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, 4 hours with a live model
Theme: monochromatic set up: dark skinned model against a dark background. This combination challenges the eye and allows a study subtle tonal transitions, highlights, and the delicate interplay of form and spatial depth.

Price: €35 (includes coffee, tea, and snacks)
