After the fabulous Pines Party Weekend officially ends, in the early evening of Sunday, August 3rd, there actually is one more chance to dance the night away. Now in its eighth year, the annual last party helmed by yours truly has become a Fire Island tradition in its own right. This happens to be my favorite weekend of the year, and together with my other signature event on Labor Day Sundays, it is one of my most treasured nights to play.
We always pay homage to the theme of the weekend in some way, and since Sip'n'Twirl graciously agreed to host the event this year, the name SUⓇREAL can be interpreted in various ways. It is, of course, the underlying theme of the weekend, and it may or may not refer to the fact that this always sold-out party will be even more exclusive and tougher to get into than in years prior, due to the more limited capacity of the venue. But mostly, we just loved playing with the letters, to emphasize that this is the real “Su” Morabito and one of her trademark events!
For the first time, there will be an online presale for 2/3 of available tickets. To make it as fair and equitable as possible, these advance tickets will be sold in two batches. The first drop is Thursday, July 17th at 6 p.m. EDT, so set your alarms! The second opportunity will be between five to ten days later — watch this space for the next date and time! We anticipate both batches to sell out fast.
With guaranteed entry for those quick and lucky enough to grab a ticket in advance, time spent waiting in line will hopefully be reduced for everyone. All tickets will be $40, both online (all fees included) and at the door. We encourage everyone missing the two presale chances to be in line super early this year for the remaining 1/3 of capacity!
