Uncorked Stories at Fircrest Bottle Shop happens every other Thursday starting at 7:00 p.m. It's part open mic, part community bonding.
The suggested theme this time will be FALL, which could mean the season, or literally/figuratively falling, or perhaps you'll take it a different direction -- you could tell a story about:
- when things fell into your lap or fell into place
- a time you fell short, fell all over yourself, or fell on your sword
- when something fell through, fell flat, fell behind, or fell between the cracks
- falling on your face, for a joke, or in love
- falling from grace, to bits, or out of love
- the apple that didn't fall far from the tree
- a fallen hero, a fallen face, fallen tears
- a time you almost fell but didn't
- an Alice in Wonderland fall into a rabbit hole...
There are so many ways to interpret the word, but that should get your wheels turning. Everyone has a story about falling in one way or another!
Come a little early to grab a drink and a snack, then settle in to listen to some tales from your neighbors -- or tell one of your own! Afterwards we'll chat about the stories and the theme and connect with others in our community.
