This 1-hour class will teach you the science behind preservation as well as proper use of a pressure canner. Modern pressure canners are a very safe and effective way to preserve food for long periods of time. If want to expand your preservation abilities ahead of the abundant growing season, this class is for you!

This is a free class made possible by the Finland Food Chain, North Shore AgroEcology Center, and a generous grant from the Laura Jane Musser Foundation.
