While some have long denied that a lynching ever occurred in Findlay, others chose to take the truth to their graves. Now a new historical investigation is set to break the silence.
On Saturday, March 28th, research historian Casey Heilman will present an in-depth examination of this misunderstood chapter of our local history.
The presentation promises to shed light on the events that led to more than 2,000  residents taking the law into their own hands. Drawing on exhaustive research, Heilman will examine the historic evidence of who was there, when the events occurred and the circumstances.
* Due to the nature of the subject and graphic content involving a true crime, attendance is not recommended for children.
