James Findlay: The Man Behind the City-- PART TWO

Join us on Saturday, November 15th as the mansion hosts local historian Shelly Coonrod's second presentation of her research on the man after whom the city of Findlay is named. This month's topic is James Findlay : Entrepreneur. The presentation will cover James' mercantile store--Smith and Findlay. Shelly will present the Smith and Findlay business model along with its business challenges , such as changing currency, international ports, employees, transportation, illness and financial panic. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. , with the presentation beginning at 7:00 p.m. Light refreshments are included in the admission cost. Our boutique bar, Elijah's , will be open for cocktails at an additional cost. Tickets are $20.00 per person and can be purchased by contacting Jane at 419-722-7037.
