When the library lights go down, the bats come out! Spoooooky!
Join the Kalkaska Conservation District in partnership with the Kalkaska County Library for an after-hours workshop all about Michigan’s bats. Enjoy a short bat talk, then craft your own bat house to take home and help local wildlife.
WHEN: Monday, January 26th | 5-7 pm
WHERE: Garfield Branch Library, located in Garfield Township Hall
WHAT: A bat chat followed by constructing your own bat house
WHO: All are welcome, but this workshop will be geared towards adults
COST: $20 per person for bat house supplies. Tickets: kalkaskaconservation.org/districtstore/bats
**Anyone interested in bats who do not wish to build a bat house may attend free of charge for the chat!
