There is no ATM on site, so please bring cash with you. Parking is free. 🌙 ARRIVING BEFORE DARK? You’re welcome to arrive early, but please wait near the Nature Center building or designated fire-pit area until we open. Our actors and volunteers are still setting up scenes, preparing effects and completing safety checks before dark. Please do not wander onto the trail early—you might spoil a few surprises! 👥 HOW LARGE CAN OUR GROUP BE? Groups are limited to five guests at a time. Larger parties will be divided into smaller groups before entering. Smaller groups make the scares better, help prevent groups from catching up to each other and allow everyone to experience what our volunteers created. 🎃 IS THERE AN AGE REQUIREMENT? We do not enforce a specific minimum age, but preschool-aged children and younger are generally not advised to attend. Every child responds differently, so parents and guardians must decide whether their child is ready for the full experience. The Haunted Trail is intentionally frightening, and we do not offer a soft-scare, reduced-scare or no-scare option. The experience includes darkness, loud noises, fog effects, startling actors, uneven ground and stairs—not only spooky costumes. ⚠️ BEFORE YOU ENTER THE WOODS The Haunted Trail is an outdoor woodland experience. Guests should expect: • Very dark conditions and limited visibility • Sudden, extremely loud sounds • Fog-machine effects • Startle scares and close actor interactions • Dirt, leaves, roots and uneven ground • An enclosed structure with stairs • Narrow or difficult-to-navigate areas • Flashing or unusual lighting Falls can and do happen. Please consider each person’s age, mobility, balance, hearing, vision, sensory sensitivities, asthma, respiratory health and other medical concerns before entering. We want you to have fun, get scared and make it safely out of the woods—so please make an informed decision for yourself and everyone in your group. 👻 IS THIS A TOUCH HAUNT? Yes, The Haunted Trail is a partial-touch haunt. Actors may make brief, controlled contact at the shoulders and above or the knees and below as part of the fear experience. By entering, you acknowledge that this limited contact may occur. Guests may never touch, grab, push, strike or otherwise make physical contact with our actors. 🧒 KEEP CHILDREN WITH YOU Children must remain with their responsible adult throughout the entire experience. No matter how frightened you become, never run away from or leave a child behind. Keep children within reach, move together and alert an actor or volunteer if anyone needs help. 👟 WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR? Dress for the weather and wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes with good traction. This is a natural woodland trail—not a smooth, level or fully illuminated walkway. Save the cute shoes for somewhere that isn’t filled with dirt, leaves and things hiding in the dark! 🖤 PLEASE RESPECT OUR VOLUNTEERS The Haunted Trail is brought to life by volunteers who invest their time, talent, creativity and heart into every costume, prop, scare and setup. We understand that being startled might make someone scream or accidentally swear. Threats, slurs, sexual comments, harassment, intentionally cruel language, aggressive behavior and physical contact with our actors are different—and will not be tolerated. Anyone creating an unsafe or hostile situation may be removed from the event. 💀 TRAIL SURVIVAL RULES • Stay with your group. • Never leave a child behind. • Walk—do not run. • Remain on the marked trail. • Watch your footing. • Follow instructions from volunteers and safety staff. • Do not touch actors, props, costumes or displays. • Do not enter restricted or unfinished areas. • Respect the property and everyone helping create the experience.
