Can you believe it’s been 30 years since we graduated from Manual High School – Class of 1996. Man… time really flies.

This week many of us came together to lay one of our own to rest — a true Thunderbolt and warrior from our class. It was a tough moment, but it was also good seeing so many familiar faces again. It reminded me how important it is that we stay connected while we still have the chance.

That got me thinking…

Would the Class of ’96 be interested in doing something special for our 30-year reunion?

Nothing is planned yet. Right now we’re just trying to see who would actually be interested before we start putting things together.

Many opinions were bounced around and people were thinking maybe putting a two-day reunion weekend, experience together:

✨ Night One: An elegant adults-only evening — good food, music, laughs, photographs, and catching up with people we haven’t seen in years.

✨ Day Two: A family-friendly gathering at the park somewhere so we can bring our families together and celebrate the legacy of our class, maybe tell some stories about the legacy we came from, and great memories but again — right now we’re just checking the temperature.

Possible dates would be sometime in August 2026.

If you would be interested in coming to a 30-year reunion, drop a “I’m interested” in the comments or text. Reach out to anyone who is not on this Facebook page or group text to get the word out. Please put in your ideas and thoughts about the reunion. 

If enough people want to do it, then we’ll move forward and start planning something amazing. By default If people only want to do a family day at the park that’s cool too.
