About the Artist
Kevin Frank is a multimedia artist whose work is deeply rooted in personal experience and emotional expression. Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Victoria, Kevin specializes in abstract photography and painting, using these mediums as a way to engage with and process his own mental health. His work utilizes a visual language as an aid for exploring the complexities of being human. Kevin’s approach allows for a direct, unfiltered exploration of emotion. Through distorted forms, fragmented compositions, and layered textures, his work captures the internal tumult and fleeting moments of peace that accompany mental health challenges.
For Kevin, art is not only a therapeutic tool but also an invitation for viewers to reflect on their own mental and emotional states. He believes in the ability of abstraction to transcend literal representation and offer a language for personal struggle, healing, and resilience. Each piece is a fragment of his inner world, inviting others to engage, find solace, or simply witness vulnerability.
Ultimately, Kevin’s work serves as both a personal journey and a broader conversation about the importance of mental health awareness. @SampleSizeKev
