About the Class Celebrate International Women’s Day with movement, fun, and sass! This upbeat workshop blends simple choreography with expressive movement and is designed for women and those who identify as women. Sass is a fusion of lyrical, jazz, hip-hop, and cabaret dance. Connect with your sensual self and inner confidence in a supportive, open atmosphere. No dance experience needed—just bring your energy and your willingness to have a great time! Comfortable clothing recommended; heels not necessary.
About the Instructor Rivka Landsberg has trained in Cecchetti and RAD ballet, modern jazz, contemporary, partnering, salsa, and hip hop for 16 years, and has been teaching dance for 6 years. She is passionate about creating safer spaces for people to connect with their bodies and explore movement. Her favorite classes are sass and burlesque, where all levels can celebrate their sensuality and self-expression.
Accessibility Note The workshop will take place in our theatre on the accessible main floor. The ramp into the building is located on the north end (Fernie Taphouse side).
