Intro to Quilting with the Fernie Quilt Guild

Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th November, 10-3pm

Learn the timeless craft of quilting in this beginner-friendly workshop with the Fernie Quilt Guild. You’ll create your very own jelly roll quilt while learning the basics of piecing, sewing, and assembling a quilt top. All materials and supplies are provided, just bring your enthusiasm and enjoy the process of stitching something beautiful. Previous sewing experience is recommended. You may not complete the project in the time frame. Machines are available for use for free after the workshop. 16+

Pre-workshop on fabric selection and preparation will take place on October 29th at 5pm. You can also bring your own fabric if you prefer, please inquire to amounts and type needed.

Meet the machine is also happening Nov 5th 7-9pm if you would like to increase you knowledge on machines ahead of the workshop. Please register to secure a spot.
