Third Space Comedy

Local Variety Co. presents Third Space Comedy — a monthly stand-up event in the Taproom at Urbanrest Brewing Company in Ferndale, MI.

Each show features local & regional comedians in an intimate space filled with barrels, string lights, and good vibes. The “third space” is the place between work and home where you feel seen and celebrated for who you are. For us, it’s a celebration of comedy, creativity, community, and connection — and you’re invited.

Mike Chase is a high-energy comedian, host, and creator known for his quick wit, animated storytelling, and interactive stage presence. Blending real-life experiences with sharp observations, he delivers performances that are both relatable and unforgettable. He’s performed at venues including the Music Hall, Detroit House of Comedy, and One Mike Detroit, and has shared stages with nationally recognized comedians while also appearing in film, commercials, and live productions.

Mike is the creator of the hit interactive comedy experience Job Interview Gone Wrong, where audiences don’t just watch the show — they become part of it. Whether hosting, headlining, or producing, Mike brings big laughs, real connection, and nonstop energy every time he steps on stage.
