Level gravel paths (with restrooms at each end) traverse open fields, wooded areas, and a stream before arriving at the Farm. From there, we'll head back towards the Fragrance Garden on a separate path through more woods along the Nooksack River. While it might not be the most exciting time of year to view this stretch, we should see a nice selection of local birds and perhaps a surprise or two. If you go out, you see stuff! About 2 miles altogether with an optional trip on the boardwalk afterwards.
