This is a ticketed Pride Month benefit event with two ticket tiers:General admission - $5 (100% of ticket fee goes to , a local LGBTQIA+ community center serving the metro-Detroit area.General admission with 1 copy each of The Wolf and the Siren Song and God is a Lesbian - $36.95 ($5 goes to Affirmations)Xander will also be raffling off two posters with original artwork based on their books.Come ready to listen, connect, and celebrate the stories that make us who we are.About Xander PhanesTherapist by day, artist by night, Xander Phanes is a trans and queer Syrian American author of multicultural LGBTQ narratives on exile, loss, the soul, prayer, and healing, under the guise of gothic, low-fantasty/science fantasy books. They can be found on instagram at @mxphanes.Liberty BrookeLiberty Brooke is a queer poet and essayist who believes that through poetry and literature we should be urged to never accept the unacceptable and immortalize the little joys of life. She values community building and views literacy as a social justice issue. Her chapbook God is a Lesbian was released in April, 2026. Her works can also be found in VANTAGE magazine (Issue #2, May 2026), Outside Berlin Magazine’s January 2026 Issue, VANTAGE Magazine (Issue #1, February 2026), Lesbos Library Zine (Issue #2, 2026), Anarkiss Zine (Issue #11 + 12, 2026), [Sic] Literary Magazine (#33, 2025-26 Issue), Sandhills Literary Magazine (Issue #48, 2024), and a variety of other magazines, journals, and zines.
