Bigwood Lecture 2026

Join us for the annual Bigwood Lecture on April 9, 2026 at 7 pm in Legacy Hall on the Fergus Falls campus of M State.

This year's speaker is Olympian, Wynn Roberts.

A competitor in the Vancouver Winter Olympics and member of the U.S. Biathlon National Team, Wynn Roberts launched his athletic career early in life. He will discuss the discipline and determination behind reaching the highest level of international competition and reflect on how those lessons continue to influence him.

About the Bigwood Lecture Series
Funded in part through an endowment by Otter Tail Power Company in 1991, the Lecture honors the late Bob Bigwood, who served as Otter Tail Power president and chairman of the board. Bigwood’s leadership in civic affairs at Otter Tail Power and at M State Fergus Falls campus as a founder of both the College and Fergus Area College Foundation sets the standard for the Lecture’s continuing recognition of engaged leaders and citizen participation.
