D-BAT Fenton will be holding a one-hour camp to teach the basics of the game to the next generation of baseball and softball players. Every session will progress by teaching aspects of the game from "What is a batter's box?", equipment review, proper grip & stance, fielding ground balls, to defense and hitting drills, until they are ready to star in their first game.
Who: Baseball & Softball players ages 6 - 8 years. These camps are created for beginner players who are either entering their first year of play, need a refresher, or a better understanding of the game.
When: Every Sunday starting February 1st through March 29th.
What should I bring: Players must have a glove, bats and helmets are optional, no cleats and a water bottle.
Cost: $20 per session. Spots are limited, we will create a wait list and start another session, or add instructors if there is demand.
Make-up sessions will be made available if needed. Please keep in mind this is a progressive clinic teaching a different aspect or knowledge of the game each week, to get the best benefit attending each session is ideal.
