Quail Hollow Ranch is our nicest county park, with sandhills, redwoods, chaparral, oak woodland, an old ranch house and a lovely pond. It’s very diverse, including lots of birdlife as well. We’ll do a 4-mile loop with some uphill and downhill at a moderate CNPS pace! Quail Hollow is also the centerpiece of the chapter’s habitat restoration crew’s 20+ years of exotic plant  removal work. Join Andy Werner and Dan Antonaccio to explore its wonderful trails.

This trip will be a moderate walk with a total mileage of about 5 miles and elevation gain of around 600 feet.  Bring a hat, sturdy hiking shoes, lunch, sunscreen, adequate water, and hiking poles. We will stop for lunch along the way.

No dogs allowed.
