This is a community venture and you are all very needed to help look after our pignut, knapweed, sheep sorrel and rare grass plants, which our ground nesting skylarks live in and feed on the ants a key stone species which live in the anthills of this acid grassland habitat. Maybe the only site left in the area of ancient grassland!Please share poster, text and book free places here on Eventbrite.The 'Hanworth Air Park Biodiversity Project' (HAPBP) began in early 2023 with ecology events on the park looking at its flora and fauna. Recently we held a bee conservation event with 120 people, an invertebrate monitoring workshop on the park and a bat walk.The HAPBP project is an education and environment initiative of the Friends of Hanworth Park House (FoHPH).This HAPBP event is supported by the Crane Valley Partnership Community Fund.
