This month we are privileged to spend an evening with Steve Zedekar, award winning photographer and longtime local diver, for an evening of fun and stories (some of them featuring prominent club members) and beautiful photography.

From Steve:

Growing up watching Sea Hunt and The Undersea World of Jacques Cousteau I knew I’d be a diver!

I’ve been diving since the early 70’s and have been certified for 53 years. (An astounding feat, as I’m only 37.) I still get all giddy before a dive with the anticipation of what we might see! First certified as a NASDS diver in 1972, I worked as a diver in Southern California in the 70’s. I crossed over to a PADI certification and have been a PADI Divemaster for a number of years. One daughter dives, as does one son-in-law and one wife. (I’m good at math, too.)
