March Teachable Tuesdays: Eclipses

Look up—something incredible is happening on March 3rd! A lunar eclipse will transform the Moon into the breathtaking “Blood Moon,” and we’re celebrating it at the Nature Center. Join us to learn how this fascinating astronomical event works, why the Moon turns red, and what makes lunar eclipses so special—then head outside tonight and experience it for yourself with a whole new perspective.

This program is part of our first-Tuesday drop-in series during the school year, designed for curious learners and families of all ages. Each month brings a brand-new topic—from science and nature to art and history—so there’s always something new to discover. No registration required—just come ready to learn, explore, and be amazed.
