Hayden’s Hope was founded in 2019 following the loss of Hayden C. Hammons to suicide in October 2018. In the midst of their grief, Hayden’s family made the decision that something meaningful and beneficial would come from their tragedy. What began as a scholarship account in Hayden’s memory grew into Hayden’s Hope, a Tennessee 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to encouraging young people and helping them build brighter futures. The mission of Hayden’s Hope is to share a message of salvation, encouragement, and hope with the youth of Tennessee while providing scholarships to area high school seniors pursuing higher education. Through motivational speakers, outreach in school environments, scholarships, and community events, Hayden’s Hope works to remind young people that they do not have to face life’s difficult moments alone. Built on the foundation of John 16:33, Hayden’s Hope carries one message into everything it does: There is always HOPE.
