Fayetteville’s Wizard Weekend – January 23-25, 2026
Wizards, witches, and curious muggles of all ages are invited to Fayetteville, West Virginia, for a spellbinding weekend of magic! From January 23–25, our charming town transforms into a full-fledged wizarding village, complete with enchanted experiences around every corner.
Explore the majority of activities outdoors as you stroll through town—be sure to check the weather and dress appropriately for a magical adventure! This year, we’re adding more self-guided experiences, including a wizard-themed scavenger hunt that lets groups discover hidden surprises at their own pace.
You’ll encounter live falconry demonstrations, Roy Moose with the Snakes of West Virginia presentation, and immersive, ticketed feasts and events including a Yule Ball. Shop for magical crafts, explore wizard-themed exhibits like Folk Magic at the Love Hope Center for the Arts, and enjoy themed workshops, arts, and entertainment throughout town.
Visitors are encouraged to don their most magical attire—robes, wands, hats, and whimsical costumes are highly recommended. Whether you’re competing in tour annual tournament, attending a ticketed feast, or simply soaking in the magical ambiance, Fayetteville’s Wizard Weekend promises an unforgettable experience for fans of all ages.
