Celebrating a tradition that began nearly 50 years ago when The Flower House hosted a Christmas Open House. Other businesses and organizations began participating in what is now the Host of Christmas Past.
Each year, on the second weekend in November, downtown Fayetteville becomes the setting for a magical holiday experience. With an array of music, food, exhibits, shops, candlelight and Christmas spirit the entire community joins together to promote qualities of our town.
Begin your visit on Friday by enjoying our beautiful Downtown all decorated for the holiday season. Join us for the Opening Kickoff on the east side of Courthouse lawn at 5pm. Then enjoy strolling the square and browse the beautiful shops and eateries ready for the holiday season. Grab a brochure to plan your day on Saturday as some take place at scheduled times. Festival hours on Saturday are 9 am to 7 pm.
Stop by the Information Booth located on the Courthouse Lawn for assistance regarding festival activities.
Fayetteville Tennessee is located about 80 miles south of Nashville. From I-65 South, take Exit 14 to Fayetteville on Highway 64 East. Fayetteville is also about 30 miles north of Huntsville Alabama by way of 231/431 North.
