Their goal was to explore Cueva Palomora, near the current terminus of one of the world’s deepest known caves, Sistema Cheve. They went on to spend 27 consecutive days underground.

Join us March 16 for a special presentation by Matt Covington, Associate Professor of Geosciences at the University of Arkansas and Fayetteville native. Matt is one of the world’s foremost cave explorers and scientists, and his presentation will focus on his team’s expedition to push Cueva Palomora in an attempt to find the continuation of Sistema Cheve.
