- **Event Description**: Utilising paths marked on OS Explorer map 149, this a walk of around 12 miles, that starts from Selling. It is a tiny village southeast of Faversham, with a rich history that dates back to the Domesday Survey.

Heading north through a landscape of open countryside & orchards, we cross the railway near Neames Forstal, to soon enter Rhodes Common. A bridge takes the group over the busy A2, as we continue in a northerly direction, where more woodland follows. A track marked on the OS map as Red Road Track leads the way through Blean Wood.

On reaching Dargate, we then turn south and down to Hernhill, where a church and the Red Lion are handily situated. This appears therefore, to be the suitable point for our picnic lunch, followed by a drink, which we duly did so on a walk in this area, last year in June 2025.

Passing beside Mount Ephraim Gardens, the circuit drops down to Boughton Street, crossing once more the A2, as we head back to Selling for the completion of the walk.

Dogs welcome, but on a short lead when required.
