- **Event Description**: This is a walk of approximately 13 miles starting from Brogdale Farm, which lies just south of Faversham. This fine hike is a mix of undulating countryside and woodland, in an area of Kent well known for an abundance of orchards.

Setting off in a southerly direction, our circuit heads towards Whitehill before meandering across to Painter's Forstal. We pass the Alma Inn, which is so named after a battle in the Crimean War, to continue onward, eventually arriving at Lynsted. Our usual short picnic lunch stop will most likely be taken at this point, whilst the Black Lion is a useful refuelling spot, before the second half of the walk.

Suitable refreshed, we head north to Bogle Road, which we briefly join, before turning left near Bumpit Farm and onward to Lewson Street. For the remainder of the route we stay south of Faversham before arriving back at Brogdale.

There is no pub at the finish, but Brogdale has a tea room for refreshment if required by those in need.

Dogs welcome, but on a short lead when required.
