Since the beginning of time, humans have gathered at the fire. Flames draw us into circle - to move, to release, to remember what keeps us alive.

This evening workshop fuses 5Rhythms-inspired movement with the timeless ritual of fire. No choreography. No performance. Just your body, the beat, and the firelight.

I'm a former tech executive turned movement facilitator who discovered that the deepest wisdom often lives in our bodies, not our minds. After spending decades building a successful corporate career, I found 5Rhythms in 2012 and it cracked open a door I didn't even know was closed.

This practice keeps teaching me that our bodies hold stories our minds aren't ready to tell. Sometimes it's messy, sometimes it's magical, but it's always real. As someone who's danced with depression and lived in the shadows of mental health challenges, I know firsthand how this practice can be both terrifying and transformative.

I chose to teach 5Rhythms because I believe in creating spaces where transformation doesn't have to be precious. Where you can show up exactly as you are - whether that's anxious, analytical, awkward, or anywhere in between. My classes blend structure with creative freedom, making this powerful practice accessible to everyone, especially those who think they "can't dance" or feel uncomfortable in their bodies.

In my other life, I'm an executive coach, podcast host, and ceramicist, working with leaders to create more human-centred workplaces. This blend of corporate experience and creative exploration helps me bridge worlds - translating the profound wisdom of 5Rhythms into practical, grounded movement experiences.

My dance spaces welcome every body and everybody. Whether you're a CEO or student, whether you live in your head or are scared of what lives in your body, whether you're flowing or frozen - there's room for all of you here. Come dance with me. 5Rhythms® - created by Gabrielle Roth and practised by tens of thousands worldwide - is a philosophy, perspective, performance art and dynamic movement practice rooted in the principle that if you put the psyche in motion, it will heal itself. Wherever the 5Rhythms are practised, a community is born to dance. To sweat, to change, to support, and to provide a safe space for each of us to shatter the ego’s hold and awaken the juicy, unpredictable, fascinating, edge-walking, rock star part of ourselves that yearns to be free.

Dress ready to move. We recommend loose comfortable clothes and layers. There is the invitation to dance with bare feet on the ground. For everyone’s comfort, let’s make this a fragrance free zone.
