Teeth Whitening Training for Hygienists, Therapists & Dentists @Philips HQ

This course run by Megan Fairhall, in association with Philips Oral Healthcare, it is designed to educate Dental Hygienists, Dental Therapists and Dentists on all aspects of teeth whitening. This is an in person course held at Philips headquarters in Farnborough.

As well as covering all the theory behind teeth whitening Megan will also talk you through the practical aspects of the whitening journey, from gaining appropriate prescriptions through to managing patient cases and explaining aftercare for both Take Home and Chairside Whitening with Philips Zoom! You will leave the day confident to play your role in the teeth whitening procedures in your practice.

Megan will also be sharing her expertise on marketing and social media to empower each delegate to create their own marketing plans and maximise on their news skills to attract new patients.

Each delegate will also receive a trial Philips Sonicare electric toothbrush and a certificate for six hours eCPD. At the end of the course each delegate will be sent an assessment and feedback form once these are completed you will receive your eCPD certificate.

Aim

To provide education to dentists, dental hygienists and dental therapists on both the theory and practical aspects of teeth whitening and to empower individuals to successfully implement teeth whitening into their practice.

Objectives

By the end of the course delegates should:

• Understand the theory and science behind teeth whitening techniques.
• Understand the consultation, clinical workflow and protocols for teeth whitening.
• Have knowledge of the different case planning and management in reference to providing teeth whitening.
• Have in depth knowledge of the use of take home whitening trays.
• Be able to demonstrate the practical application and isolation of the Zoom! chair side procedure.
• Understand the methods and advantages to marketing teeth whitening and how to implement teeth whitening into practice.
• Have confidence in providing teeth whitening treatments and tailoring to patients to gain safe, effective and long lasting results.
