Unlike traditional paint-your-own pottery, stoneware glazing is layered and dynamic. As your mug fires at high temperatures, the glazes interact and transform, creating earthy tones, subtle shifts, and organic effects that make every piece completely unique.



During the workshop, you’ll choose from our curated glaze combinations and learn how to properly layer and apply high-fire glazes for the best results. We will be painting our "Contemporary" mug where color gathers in the grooves along the top creating natural variation.



This class is perfect if you love cozy handmade mugs, earthy finishes, and the idea of embracing a little creative unpredictability. Your finished mug will be food safe and ready for everyday use once fired.
