The celebration will include remarks from hospital leaders, the official ribbon-cutting, and guided tours of the new imaging center. This investment in women’s health ensures better access to vital screenings and care, while shortening wait times.

This milestone marks the completion of a $2.3 million expansion project, nearly doubling breast health service capacity to serve up to 12,000 patients annually. Thanks to generous community support and a $200,000 donation from the Parkland Health Center Foundation, the new center features:
✅ A mammography 3Dimension unit with stereotactic breast biopsy capability
✅ A second mammogram unit to expand appointment availability
✅ Advanced OB ultrasound technology
✅ Enhanced bone density scanning services

Community members, patients, and media are warmly invited to attend, meet hospital staff, and explore the new Women’s Imaging Center!
