Sound Waves Magazine described her music as “expertly written prose… songwriting at its best… good for your ears AND your soul.” Acoustic Live in New York City added, “She possesses not only a huge reservoir of musical talent and a voice with a bell-like clarity, but a keen sense of global concern and a fierce intellect... It might seem too good to be true, but true it is.” Herscovitch is a past Connecticut State Troubadour.

Lara Herscovitch & the Highway Philosophers is a very special new trio. The band gets its name from her new album, Highway Philosophers, with themes reflecting about courage, authenticity, adventure, healing, love and loss, the hero’s journey, faith and freedom. The concert at Garmany Hall will feature Jim Henry on electric guitar, and David Childs on keyboard. 

This is a very special concert hosted offsite at the beautiful Garmany Hall, Winding Trails, Farmington. Doors at 7 p.m., concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Directions to Winding Trails venue and parking lot are posted on our website under Directions. We recommend bringing a flashlight.
