- **Event Description**: It is that time of year again and we are excited to announce the 10th Annual Spud Open Memorial Golf Tournament. Thank you to everyone who came out last year for the Seventh Annual Spud Open, it was an amazing day. We are proud to partner again with the Connecticut Special Olympics. We are so appreciative of the overwhelming support we receive year in and year out that makes this all possible. The Tenth Annual Spud Open will be hosted on Saturday, August 1st at Tunxis Country Club in Farmington, CT (87 Town Farm Rd., Farmington, CT 06032). Registration will begin at 8am with a shotgun start at 10am. The format will be an 18 hole scramble. This will be a charity tournament and proceeds go to the Special Olympics of Connecticut. Price per person will be $160 per golfer ($640 per foursome) and this includes golf, a small breakfast, open driving range, open bar and dinner held under the outdoor pavilion with games. Dinner only Tickets will also be sold for $40 per ticket.
