Attendees will learn about the fascinating science behind bird song and trace the history of music composers utilizing bird song in their works. Attendees will also participate in listening exercises to identify birds by ear, including a live bird walk to try out their listening skills in the wild! All ages and ability levels welcome.We will be meeting at the North Shelter Pavillion in Heritage Park (here is a pin in Google Maps: ). After you come in the main entrance off of Farmington Road, hang a right at the stop sign. You will see a playground and a splash pad next to the North Shelter Pavilion. If you have any questions the day of, Andy Jarema's cell # is 248-884-3130. Thank you!Heritage Park in Farmington Hills has 211-acres along with 4.5 miles of trails for hiking and nature study.
