The Story: Jared and Rachel Riser welcomed their daughter, Shiloh, to the world just 7 months ago. Since she was born, Shiloh has faced multiple medical complications that have required procedures and hospitalizations at Oschner’s in New Orleans. Shiloh’s conditions require her to see specialists in Alexandria and Shreveport when she is not in New Orleans. In the last 7 months, Jared and Rachel have spent more nights in a hospital room than they have at home and it’s likely that this will continue while the doctors work diligently to tend to Shiloh. To assist with medical, travel and lodging expenses, we’re stepping up for one of our own! Jared is an avid crappie angler with a resume in tournament fishing that includes multiple National Championships and recently a win at the SeaArk Open. Jared and Rachel reside in Union Parish and are greatly respected within the community. 

So, what’s the plan? 4 tournaments in 1 day?!? YEP! We’re combining our annual Youth and Catfish Derby with the PCC Scramble and adding a Catch, Clean, Cook bracket. 

100% of all angler entries, sponsorships and donations will go directly to the Riser family! Each tournament is for bragging rights and hardware only, no money, unless a sponsor or donor wishes to specifically designate funds to it. 

This is a very new, still in the “evolving” process event. We will post here as much as possible to keep everyone in the loop! 

Want to help? We NEED YOU! Raffle prizes, donations, sponsorships, fish cleaners, fish cookers, peanut oil, fish fry, etc. FREE FISH PLATES for everyone at the 4 pm weigh-in for the PCC Scramble!
