Celebrate Earth and learn how to protect it! The Valley Ranch Green Club will have eight educational booths at Valley Ranch's EarthFest:
1) What to plant in shade, where your lawn no longer grows
2) Purchase a pollinator plants kit - everything you need to attract butterflies and birds to your outdoor space
3) Take home a free host plant - learn why host plants are important for pollinators
4) Take home a free Black-Eyed Susan - learn how to start plants from seed and why Black-Eyed Susans are important for pollinators
5) How to make your home Dark Sky compliant - learn why this is important to protect birds
6) Meet some of our urban wildlife up close
7) Learn about birds and how you can protect them
8) Join the Scavenger Hunt and learn what ladybugs eat
There will be many more events, music, and food!
