This introduction to ceramics will focus on the basics of wheel throwing and hand building. Basic glazing, staining, and slipping techniques will also be introduced. Class includes 25 pounds of clay and 3500 cubic inches of kiln space for firing. Open Studio access during the weeks the class is in session will be available at an additional fee based on current Open Studio rates. Additional clay and glaze firing are available for purchase.
