Take your ceramic practice to the next level. This intermediate course builds on foundational skills as you explore combining wheel throwing and hand-building, creating altered forms, and designing lidded vessels—while refining the overall aesthetic of your work. Students may choose to fire pieces in a gas, or electric kiln. The class includes 25 pounds of clay, glaze materials, and 3,500 cubic inches of firing space. Tools and additional clay are available for purchase. Open Studio access is available during the session for an additional fee based on current Open Studio rates. Additional clay and firing services may be purchased as needed. Completion of Intro to Ceramics or an equivalent course is required.
