Cardboard Sled Races

On Your Mark, Get Set, Recycle!

Start planning your sled design and get ready for a day of winter fun. Build a creative sled using cardboard and race it down the hill and join our Best Design contest. Awards will be given for both speed and creativity in three age categories.

𝐀𝐠𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬:
• Class 1: Ages 10 and under
• Class 2: Ages 11 to 17
• Class 3: Ages 18 and older

𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞:
• Registration begins at 10:30 am in the warming house
• Races begin at 11:00 am
• Awards are presented after all races are completed

𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭: First, second, and third place design awards will be given in each age category. Judging takes place prior to each class race.

Costumes are encouraged. Please dress for the weather.
