About our Speaker
Our Keynote Speaker will be local artist, Alicia Hauff. Alicia is a Fargo-based, full-time multidisciplinary artist whose work is rooted in the natural world around us. Alicia's art is guided by connection with the earth, listening deeply and noticing. Flora and fauna are her most frequent subjects, often depicted with stunning natural pigments. Her latest complete series, Seize the Day, features energy-filled, high-flying raptors. Alicia's solo exhibition, Homing, is currently on display at the Plains Art Museum through July 5th, 2026. Learn more about Alicia and view her work at
https://www.aliciahauffstudio.com/#. Alicia will have a sampling of her work available for sale during NPBGS' Annual Meeting, so please consider taking this opportunity to support local art!
Canning Jar Drive
As a part of our Annual Meeting this year, we're seeking donations of new or gently used glass canning jars, resealable glass bottles, and seasoning shakers for our volunteers to use for jams, juices, flavored vinegars/oils, herbs, and other items produced from NPBGS' seasonal bounties. Our non-profit sells these items throughout the year as a way to earn funds and grow. All jar sizes are welcome, including pints, quarts, 1/2 pints, 1/4th pints. We kindly request you do not donate sauce jars, plastic jars, or very old jars - we suggest those be recycled, reused, or donated to other local organizations like our friends at Hope Blooms. We thank you for your generosity!
