At 5:15pm, gather in front of Wickham Community Centre, where Wickham Morris will lead a torch-lit procession through the village. We’ll make our way to Woodies, arriving for 6pm, ready for a round of winter carols.
This year’s celebration is inspired by Revd Canon David’s favourite Christmas carol, Fairytale of New York - so check you know the lyrics and come prepared to sing the polite version!
Feel free to embrace the spirit of the season with pagan-themed attire, though it’s entirely optional.
Flame torches can be pre-ordered for £4.50 each.
Otherwise, the event is completely free, with special thanks to Woodies for their support.
