- **Event Description**: Announcing the first event of the year for the Southern Maine Daylily Society:  A “Spring Fling” on Saturday, March 14th at the Mountainside Community Church 18 Mountain Road, Falmouth, Maine from 12:00 noon to 1:30.  This will primarily be a social event followed by a brief business meeting.  The club will provide lunch, so please RSVP so we know how much food we need to buy.  

Since we were not able to have our annual holiday party this past December, we will be giving away four $50 gift cards to local garden centers as door prizes for 4 lucky members like we typically do at the holiday party.  Also, all members who attend the Fling who have paid their 2026 membership dues (Just $10 per individual or household) will be able to choose a daylily from Northern Lights Daylilies that will be shipped this spring!  What fun to get a new daylily to grow this year!!  You can either bring your dues payment to the Fling or mail it ahead of time to our Treasurer:

If you bring a friend (or friends) with you to the Fling, and they join the club, they will also receive a daylily from Northern Lights!
