Falmouth Live Nativity 2019
Join in the Christmas Story Live Nativity Falmouth 2019
Falmouth Live Nativity takes place on Sunday 8th Dec from 1.00pm. The story begins at Events Square with Mary and Joseph and their donkeys. We need to help Mary and Joseph find somewhere to stay as she is about to drop...a baby! Come and join in the Christmas journey.
From Events Square we will follow Mary and Joseph and walk through the town to stop at various places to see the story unfold. We will meet Inn keepers along the way; shepherds with their sheep on a hillside as they meet with angels (outside King Charles Church); Herod in his palace (NatWest Bank); 3 Wise Men as they follow a star (from Superdrug) and follow them to The Moor where the story reaches its climax and baby Jesus has been born.
After the scene on The Moor, carol singing and a short reflection, there will be hot drinks and biscuits served inside Falmouth Methodist Church (approx 3.00pm). There will also be a childrens’ craft area.
Due to the presence of farm animals we ask that you please leave your dogs at home. All children must be supervised by an adult.
The animals which feature in the Live Nativity are brought to the event by experienced, committed owners who have the welfare of their animals at heart. Many have been coming to the live nativity since it began and have worked with the organisers over the years to ensure that it is as stress-free as possible for their animals.
Falmouth Live Nativity is a licensed event approved by Cornwall County Council for the showing of animals.
